Steven Pfau is a writer, editor, and teacher based in Los Angeles. He graduated from the University of Idaho’s MFA program, and his work has appeared in Astra Magazine, DIAGRAM, Guernica, The Iowa Review, The Offing, Passages North, and other publications. His book Say Nephew—a hybrid of autobiography, history, and cultural study about the bonds between young queer men and their literal and figurative uncles—is forthcoming from Catapult.

Steven is represented by Will Lippincott at Aevitas Creative Management.

Pfau, pronounced fow, means “peacock.”
